Disappointed Experience Despite Great Potential I really wanted to love the Thunderbolt Mountain Coaster. The ride itself was a lot of fun—and under different circumstances, this could have easily been a five-star review. However, I had a frustrating experience that left me, and the three friends I brought from Utah, extremely disappointed. As a YouTuber and content creator on a tight schedule, I clearly explained at the ticket booth that I didn’t have much time. The staff strongly encouraged us to purchase three rides each, assuring us it would be worth it. After waiting in line for over an hour and a half, I was only able to go down once—and my three guests didn’t get to ride at all. This wasn’t just a matter of lost time and money—it was my reputation on the line, and now those friends may never get the chance to return. I understand that crowds happen, but over-promising and under-delivering left a very bad taste. The ride itself is great—but the poor time management and misleading ticket sales cost this review three stars. Patty who works the ticket booth was so kind and generous. This mountain coaster goes unbelievable fast, I had so much fun and we rode twice! There were also no line when we went today!

It was fun i was sad it only lasted 10 mins. It took longer to go all the way up then down. But i would def go again. It gets busy !! Get there early and that restaurant was sooo good too the burger was amazing. Sad they had sweet pickles but that’s ok.

The coaster was awesome! It takes you very high. Cars were spaced perfectly so I didn't have to slow down. It was a high adrenaline rush for me and my son was able to go slower. Great time for the whole family. Staff was very friendly. Line moved quickly. Tickets are purchased at the coaster.

After waiting almost 2 hours I was extremely disappointed to be stuck behind a grown man pumping the brakes the entire time, rendering my trip a complete waste of time. The cart automatically stops if you're too close and mine was stopped 5 times on a 2 minute ride. There needs to be a better system in place so that people too afraid to ride the correct way can get a little more of a head start without ruining someone else's5 experience. Not only did the guy in front of me ruin my experience, he also waited in and out of line with 6 family members who showed up after i had been in line for an hour. That also was the case with another women who had bought 3 tickets for her kids, held the line while they went with their grandfather and all re-entered line (4 kids) in front of me and all other guests. I can see why its $10. ***** I will bump up to 3 stars as manager called offering apology and free tokens. I live 2 hours away so won't be back in that area but do appreciate the effort. ****

This place is the absolute worst. I called 3 times to ensure that this place would be open rain or shine before I had to drive 1.5 hours to get here. They insured me they would be open. When we got here, they all of a sudden decided to close early for the day. I do not recommend this place and will never come back. You all lost a lifetime customer! Worst part is they still had 1.5 hours before they actually close. Thank you for your response, that is a lie. Not one cast member or employee mentioned any lightning strike at all. So thank you for your lies but no thank you at all. When we got there, all they said was: we decided to close early, we are sorry. So now I know you all lie about it too. Thank you, have a wonderful day.

I brought my family of 8 here. Although the coaster was a lot of fun , the wait in line was terrible. I thought the place limited the number of tickets sold. I bought each of us the 3 pack. Because the line was so long we ended up leaving after 2 rides. Now I have coins for 8 more rides that I can still use another day, (which is good)but that wasn’t the plan. It’s a long drive for me to get there. I will go back again. The trip down the mountain is fun..

Had a great time! Word of advice, if the person you are with wants to control the brake and thinks the back seat is the place to be, let them! You can lock your arms down on the brakes so they can't touch them when sitting in the front!! Fly baby Fly!! No brakes and lots of screams! I'll be back again and I know where I'll be sitting!! 😆😁😎
