If you are AA…DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I just left and I’m completely furious! I went in after making a purchase at the FP movement store. I was down the street so I said let me go pop in to see if there were some items other than the Lakeside store (amazing team by the way) for a trip this Friday. I went in and saw three ladies talking at the cash wrap and they spoke. I saw a jumper I liked and some necklaces and chain I thought would be cute to get. Again never picked up yet. Walked around. Saw my niece texted me something funny so I called her. At this point I’m not paying attention but laughing with her. I even walked to clearance to see what they had on sale. My husband called and I ft him and he didn’t like the hats. Ok cool. The lady asked me was I ok I said yes. No biggie. She stayed I’m still shopping I also saw a white shirt that I thought would be cute with some jeans my husband got for me. I noticed the other girl hovering around me with keys. So I moved and noticed both them following me. So I told my niece to hold on I think I have some “store stalkers.” I didn’t know I couldn’t shop while black. They immediately moved especially when I said I will be calling corporate. I asked the one of their names (I assume was the manager) her name was Bre and it was another one with black curly hair. The other person never moved from the register. I’m currently on hold with customer service. I usually have amazing experiences around the country when I shop with the brand. I’ve been wearing free people since I was 14. Every one knows this brand is one of my favorites. I’ve also introduced numerous people to the FP world. So I will be d**** if racist store associates that don’t make in 10 years what I wear on one finger cost could ever belittle me. And for those who want to play the little game of but what did you have on. I HAD ON A FREE PEOPLE JUMPSUIT THAT WAS NOT BAGGY AND I LEFT MY PURSE IN THE CAR SO I COULD APPLE PAY! I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER. IF THEY WERE FIXING ITEMS WHY WERE THEY RUNNING THEIR MOUTHS DOING NOTHING WHEN I WALKED IN? Plus they probably would have made their daily quota if they would have just actually been normal humans.

On 9/30/23 at 12:30pm four African American Females in their 60's went into the store. Gave a smile to one of the young staff member and she just gave a cold stared back and not friendly. Overheard one talking to another staff member saying " It's my fault, I was looking down and when I looked up, they were all there." None of the three staff members greeted the ladies, did not help at all and gave them cold stares. Needless to say, all the ladies walked out without buying anything. By the way, the three employees were young white females in their 20's. Can this store be given a minus 1?

I took my daughter shopping here today. We were assisted by Lindsay and Bella. They were both laidback (not trying to force a sale) and helpful. While we didn’t find what we were looking for we were given some thoughtful alternatives that could better fit our immediate needs. The store was clean and easy to shop. We will most certainly be back and hope to shop with these employees again.

The ladies here are wonderful! It was a team effort to find me the perfect dress, but we did it! I even ordered a handful of other dresses online in multiple sizes and they gracefully accepted my returns for the ones that didn’t fit properly. Great customer service!

This is now the best Free People store in the area. Love the staff. They are incredibly helpful. And, they have much more in stock that I'm interested in.

The staff was nice and had a soothing environment. But be warned it's a relatively expensive store not that it's not worth it. They have quality clothes but probably not for people larger than a size 14 at least from what I seen but the staff also said their stock had been picked over when we attended.

Awesome service and helpful, friendly employees. High-class clothing, with a trendy vibe. Great location right on Magazine St., with lots of other vintage stores nearby, and cool restaurants in walking distance!

Amazing! The things they sell have far better than average quality. And the bargains! The folks who sell those things seem very nice- especially the tall chick- she's cute.
