DON'T BUY A PELLA !!! I don't know what's happened to the leadership at Pella. I believe they forgot all about the customer. I bought a Pella French Door with the blinds in the glass panels a few years back. I bought it with their claim to lifetime warranty. But now that the string in the blinds have broken, they sent me a spool of string with no instructions. As a customer, I have no idea how to re-string a blind. Actually, having a customer repair their product, is NOT a warranty. Also, they do offer a replacement unit for over $1,700. Which, since I need two, would cost me over $3,400 which is more than it cost me to originally buy and have installed the current Pella French Door that I bought from them. This is NOT a company you can trust. I will be needing another French Door but I certainly will NOT be buying Pella.

Ordered a sliding glass door with wood trim. The door is beautiful and was installed as scheduled. The salesman was easy to work with and we did not feel pressured at all. The price was actually cheaper than their competitors and the door was superior quality. Will definitely use Pella again!

My experience with this company as a dealer has been absolutely horrible. About 80% of the orders placed there was either something wrong with the windows/doors, the order arrived well after the projected date due to some delay, or the order came in multiple deliveries. The rep and his boss were not very helpful at any point, and, on my orders at least, there has been zero or negative profit made due to the all problems related to the orders and refunds to customers. Customer service is snotty and, at times, downright rude. I try very hard not to sell any Pella, actively steering customers away from this brand if at all possible, especially if they're one time customers. Those seem to be the ones Pella doesn't care about. When they're made well, they're a great product. I, however, have only seen our biggest seller of these get the well made products.

I wasn't a bit surprised by some of the negative reviews given to the Pella Co.. While their product is considered high end their service and warranty should be considered low end. I have 2-8ft sliders 2-6ft sliders a couple 10 ft bays..etc etc. Well the weather stripping on the sliders is leaking to the point that this winter snow was coming in the house. So the fine people at pella came out to look--replace the weather stripping --no cost for the faulty stripping--LABOR $560--now I'm not sure what Med or Law school these technicians went to, but that breaks down to $120 an hour!!! Well, they didn't stop there...to replace the hardware on one of my bay windows--given one quote--but when my carpenter went in to place the order---The PRICE was doubled from the quote. The name Pella has taken a serious quality service hit to the point of arrogance!!

Corporate although cordial tells you they don't deal with customers. They take your name and contact information and tell you that there local dealer will be in touch. In my case that never happened. Several years ago the dealer told me the part I needed, a rotted door panel was no longer available. They wanted to sell me a new unit at an exorbinate price. I have since learned the part is available but getting it is another story. I am not happy with Pella or their product and would never recommend Pella products.

It would be GREAT if I could actually get someone to call me back. I had someone come out and measure my door and do an estimate about 3 weeks ago. I have since been trying to get ahold of someone at both the West Des Moines showroom and even tried to call the Pella showroom to actually move forward with the quote and order the door. I have left 4 voicemail messages and haven't received one phone call back. As much as I wanted to go with a Pella door I'm not so sure now. This is a custom door costing $8,000. Does Pella even want my business? Would love a call back if you do!!

Brittany Coffman came out last Saturday, January 27th and did a wonderful job explaining the benefits of the windows we are considering (the 250 series). Since we are new home owners and finances are still tight, she gave us a few different installment and price options (all windows at once verses windows that need replacing sooner). Looking forward to when we can schedule installation and how great our house is going to look!

I recently worked with Pella to replace 4 windows. I am blown away how good the entire team was. The installation team, Ryan and Quan, were so great. They were very professional, their attention to detail was so good, and they left the area very clean. It is always nervous when you replace items, but the quality they deliver is exceptional. I worked with Andy on the sales side and he too was so helpful. He always answered his phone and addressed all of our questions. Tracey from the main office too went above and beyond when I needed help. I am so glad I choose this great Pella team to improve the windows in our house. If you are looking to upgrade your windows, please speak to Pella, you will be so happy you did.

I ordered a Pella patio sliding door from Lowe's on 3/30/2025. It was scheduled to arrive on 4/28/2025. I confirmed arrival date with Lowe's on 4/25/2025 who reported that it was confirmed in their system. On 4/28/2025 my door did not arrive. Not that big of a deal except that I had confirmed it so that I could go ahead and tear out the bay window and expand the opening in brick for the sliding door on Sunday before the day before the door arrived on Monday. On 4/28/2025 the door did not arrive even though Lowe's system showed it as confirmed for 4/28/2025. Lowe's provided me the customer support number for Pella and the PO#. NO ONE AT PELLA could tell me where the door was or that it had even shipped. I made multiple calls. People were kind but very poorly informed about their services. Lowe's attempted to call, but was told the only way they could communicate was via email - there was not business side customer support. This morning - 2 days later than expected delivery date Pella emailed Lowe's informing that the door was shipped on 4/25/2025 and it should arrive by 5/13/2025. I have a large opening in the wall of my 2nd floor newly built deck and will be waiting 2 more weeks for a door I order a month ago. I chose the Pella door instead of the significantly lower priced ones because the Lowe's associate recommended it over the other 2 options and Pella had slightly higher ratings. I stayed on this a good portion of the last 2 days - it was impossible to get a timely informed response. Today I am going to get plywood to put over the opening for the next 2 weeks at an additional expense and great displeasure of my wife. I am very unimpressed with Pella and Lowe's. I also spoke with the very long term Lowe's associate that recommended Pella. I asked him to warn people ordering Pella about delays and poor communication. I would have been frustrated with the delay, but would have been okay knowing I needed to wait. I am extremely unhappy with the poor communication and lack of customer service provided by Pella so far.
